Stewart Duffy is Dublin photographer who specialises in exploring the beauty of Ireland’s lesser known landscapes and capturing their texture and intensity on a grand scale. The vibrancy and detail of his landscapes create a connection between the audience and the subject, evoking an intimacy between the two; Audiences commonly identify personally with the scenes pictured despite acknowledging they have never been there.
As a result, Stewart’s latest exhibition, entitled Irish Elements, received a glowing reception at its national launch at the Bar of Ireland in November 2015. The CHQ exhibition is the second of Stewart’s Irish landscape series “Irish Elements “ portraying his take on Ireland as he sees it.
